Simple progression in the manufacturing of everyday items has almost completely changed the way our world looks.
Lots of items you can find around the house are made up entirely of man made materials that have been created using different techniques. Cheap plastics and metals are consistent throughout most homes.
Take a computer for example; looking at the monitor, there is a plastic frame and a flimsy screen, inside the screen are millions of tiny pixels that make up the images, then there is all the advanced electronics that go into the make up of every single monitor. Considering the amount of the world’s populace who have access to a computer, engineering on a mass scale. Just making the materials that make the components takes a lot of processing and assembly. Then there is the stand, keyboard, mouse, cables and the base unit to add. All these items are merely cases that hide all sorts of other items, circuits and various electrical components, all of which have their own assembly process and techniques.
